What Happened
I was hired to create a private commissioned painting last year
The painting disappeared during shipping
The client accused me of lying about it and spoke negatively about me
Others joined in, suggesting I intentionally lost it (which makes no sense as shipping alone cost $50)
Escalation
The client left 5 negative reviews on my eBay account
I had to email eBay to address these reviews
Several people called me a "conman"
The client ran what I consider a smear campaign against me
What Actually Occurred
There was a shipping label mix-up
Pirate Ship gave me a UPS label, not USPS as expected
I mistakenly dropped a UPS package at USPS
I'm now arranging to pick up the package
Impact
Due to the relentless attacks, I terminated my Discord and Patreon accounts
The client had no justification to attack my character and business
I consider it water under the bridge now
WE WILL BE BACK TO LIVE TOMORROW….
